On March 27th 2011 at 8:58pm Dirken, GM of the Legendary World of Warcraft Guild Nurfed  http://www.nurfed.com gave us permission to update, redistribute, and re-brand the NDKP website application.

There hasn't been an official release of NDKP since January 15, 2007 nor any un-official one that we have been able to track down. The last version of NDKP, 3.22 is currently not compatible with the most current versions of PHP. Therefore we wont be putting putting it up for distribution right away. Soon as we get it fixed we will put it back out.

In the copy we have, we are missing the siteClass.php. To the best of our knowledge it was never included in the regular distributions as the work was not finished on it. This is mainly for easily changing the theme/template and the over all look of the application. If by chance someone does have a copy, perhaps one of the former developers or beta testers please contact us with the code. It will go a long way towards helping us move forward with the project.

We are also looking for a copy of the Wowguru-item-scraper. This was an add-on that scrapped data from the lua files of various in game DKP trackers making it easier to input raid data, such as what bosses were taken down and who received what loot.

Moving Forward:

In the near future we will be creating a website for the development and support of the application. We ask that people come to us for support of the application. Nurfed abandoned this project years ago and no longer support it. Till we have an official site up feel free to use our Contact Form.

Our first priority is to get the application working with the latest versions of PHP and the various databases available.

Next well want to get it updated for World of Warcraft Cataclysm.

Then in no particular order we want to...

• Integrate a scraper
  
• Get the template system up and running.
• Update the DKP value formulas to more accurately reflect the current state of the game.
• Implement WoW Item values as a form of DKP since it has become so popularly used that way.
• Possibly create our own in game raid tracker, though there are several good one we may just find a way to make them compatible with the application.
• Make the application compatible with games other then World of Warcraft.
• Create bridges for some of the more popular content management systems and other web applications to help. admins better integrate the DKP application with the rest of their existing site.
  
• Possibly create a new brand for the application, independent of both Nurfed and Balance Games, though Nerfed and all the known developers will always be acknowledged and credited for all their hard work. We at Balance Games believe strongly in attribution and more importantly we wouldn't have this great tool with out them.
• Increase the staff we have working on the project (not currently taking applications).
  

We are also combing through the archives of nurfedui.net (no longer on the web) to track down known bugs, requests, older versions of the application and anything else that might help us make this a better application for its users.
